The Road to LionCage 2026 season is officially underway, and the energy surrounding this year’s events continues to grow with every stop.
Presented through a collaboration between the Great Valley LaunchBox, the Brandywine LaunchBox, and the Ideas x Innovation Network (i2n), the Road to LionCage series was created to support entrepreneurs, innovators, and startup founders throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania by connecting them with mentorship, networking, educational programming, and live pitch opportunities.
This year’s journey has already delivered two exciting and successful events, beginning at Penn State Brandywine and continuing at Penn State Abington. Both events brought together founders, students, mentors, judges, and community leaders for evenings centered around innovation, entrepreneurship, and meaningful connection.
More importantly, the first two stops reinforced what continues to make the Road to LionCage special: the sense of community surrounding the region’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Each event has created opportunities for founders to sharpen their storytelling, gain valuable feedback, build relationships, and connect with people who are passionate about helping ideas move forward. From early-stage startups to experienced entrepreneurs, the Road to LionCage series continues to showcase the depth of innovation emerging across the region.
And the journey is only getting started.
The next stop on the Road to LionCage 2026 series will take place this June at Ben Franklin Technology Partners, where another group of entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas, connect with ecosystem leaders, and continue building momentum leading into the fall season.
Additional programming and another Road to LionCage event are also currently being planned for the fall as the series continues building toward the signature LionCage Grand Finale in November 2026 at Penn State Great Valley.
The annual LionCage finale has become a celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, and regional collaboration — bringing together founders, investors, mentors, judges, ecosystem partners, and supporters from across Southeastern Pennsylvania. More than just a pitch competition, LionCage represents the culmination of months of relationship-building, mentorship, founder development, and entrepreneurial growth.
This year has also introduced another exciting extension of the LionCage community with the recent launch of the Stories from LionCage podcast, presented by the Great Valley LaunchBox and hosted by Kelli Offshack.
The podcast was created to continue the conversations happening between Road to LionCage events by highlighting the founders, innovators, mentors, judges, and ecosystem leaders helping shape the entrepreneurial landscape throughout the region.
Rather than focusing only on competition results, Stories from LionCage explores the human side of entrepreneurship — the challenges, pivots, lessons learned, and experiences behind building something meaningful. The recently released Season One serves as an introduction to the people and purpose driving the LionCage community forward.
Together, the live events and podcast are helping create a year-round platform for entrepreneurial storytelling, collaboration, and innovation.
As the Road to LionCage 2026 season continues, the momentum surrounding the initiative reflects the strength of the region’s startup ecosystem and the growing number of organizations committed to supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.
From Brandywine to Abington, and soon to Ben Franklin Technology Partners and beyond, the Road to LionCage continues bringing innovators together while building excitement toward LionCage 2026 this November at Penn State Great Valley.
